Jimmy and the rest of the Sharknados played a close game against Bump Set Beer during their 8 o'clock game. When the 9o'clock game came around, Megan and Friends only had 4 players and Jimmy was kind enough to stay another hour to play with them to make the game against Fromunda a little bit more even. Despite having played the hour before, Jimmy was still full of energy, making kills and prooving to be a super valuable sub for Megan & Friends. Thanks for being a team player, Jimmy! Keep up the great work.
The Indy team, now named Perfect Strangers, came back with tons of energy after a bye last week. Having only met a couple weeks ago, the team chemistry is a notable one! We saw some great defensive plays from the team, especially from Chassi. This type of defense is key when playing the returning champs (Brickyard Blockers). Chassi had a great read of the court and was always there to dig and cover any tips. Excellent job Chassi and the rest of the Perfect Strangers! Excited to watch your team grow throughout this season!
The Last Sharknado: It's About Time, Brickyard Blockers
Player of the Week: Skyler Whitley
Team: A Tribe Called Sets
Skyler came to the courts full of energy and was quick to get a couple of subs to play on their team so they can have a full 6 on the court. Kills by Fromunda were challenged by Sklyer and his team's defensive skills! He was like a wall that wouldn't let anything through, no matter how hard the hit. He was quick on his feet and made sure that 3rd hit made it over the net, no matter how close to touching the ground it got. Great work, Skyler! Keep it up!
Dramatic AF forfeited to Perfect Strangers - Indy #V54.
Byes
Megan & Friends, The Last Sharknado: It's About Time, Brickyard Blockers, Bump Set Beer
Player of the Week: Taylor Beckman
Team: Narps
Taylor returned from playing as an Indy player from last season with a great squad. She is a super skilled player and does a great job at motivating not only her teammates but the other team as well. She had some killer spikes and was smart with where she was serving the ball. Great job Taylor! Keep up the awesome energy!
Porsha is a player to fear once she steps behind that service line. In almost every game she plays, she has a serve streak that leaves the other teams on their toes! The Fromunda team's chemistry is what makes all their games good ones and Porsha is just a fraction of that! Don't let the pig-tails fool you! Great job, Porsha! and thank you Fromunda for always showing up ready to play!
