Spring Co-ed Softball at Montavilla Park Sundays

Chad takes home this week's trophy for his thunderous rocket sent into orbit to deep left-field, giving park goers a clear definition of the boundaries outside the diamond. The softball he air-mailed landed in Mr. Doge's playhouse (aka he hit a fly-ball that almost hit a dog in left field).

Hit a three hundred foot walk off homerun to save the game after fighting through waves of rain, thunder, and mud! Ray came up clutch when it matters.

A sun drenched field at Montavilla Park was the scene of a highly anticipated rematch between Upper Deckers and Sons of Pitches in the championship game. Still smarting from a late season blowout loss to Sons of Pitches, team Upper Deckers had revenge on their mind as the first pitch was tossed in this highly competitive game.
Travis Sunde of the Upper Deckers made his presence felt throughout the game both at the plate and in the outfield. With his team leading only by one run at the time late in the game, Travis made an amazing horizontal diving catch in right field that will sure to be remembered for as long as Travis keeps reminding us of this incredible play. Congrats to the Upper Deckers for a well deserved victory...the legend continues to grow for a team that makes Underdog softball such a great league here in Portland.
