Late Fall Softcore Co-ed Indoor Volleyball at Friendly House Thursday

Inaugural night, volleyball at the Friendly House and it was just that with added fun. Two new teams were playing Indy V60 and Indy V69, but they weren't beginners. Talking, hustling and having fun.
Ian got it started early, before the game he took on captain duties, and during he was making plays. Serving, hitting and adding the hustle, save play of the night, he was on his game. Nice playing, but even better attitude, keep smiling and having fun. Nice match.

Player of the week was well deserved by Mark form the Volleyballmaniacs! Mark helped his team to a 2-1 win over Deez Nets! He was an ace from the serving line along with some great hits at the front. Marks kept his team pumped up and ready for anything that came their way! Great work Mark and all of the Volleyballmainiacs!

Something needs to be said when someone can serve multiple ace's in a row....especially at the Friendly House. That something is congrats on Player of the Week award. Troy served some rocket Ace's against the Volleymaniacs as the Warriors fought back for a game 2 win. But Troys great skills on the court arent just serving. He keeps it positive and fun with his team all night long. He passes out the congrats on both sides of the night and is a great asset to the Friendly house league. Great work Troy and all of the Warriors tonight! See you in 2016!

Laura was at the top of her game this week earning player of the week. You knew from warm up she was going to have a great night with her bump bank shot into the hoop. All game long Laura was in the right place at the right time. She found just the right spot to place her tips. Lucky enough, she even avoided the dreadful ceiling serves! Great work tonight Laura and all of the volleyballmaniacs! Good Luck in the playoffs.

When the game got close Keith got serious about his serves. One fluid motion and he hits rockets over the net leaving hit opponents at a loss to defend. Spike This had a double header tonight to take home the championship and Keith made sure it happened. Along with setting his team up..he himself had some big hits! It was a team effort but when Spike This needed him, Keith was ready to serve it up. Great work Keith and all of Spike This!
