Both teams brought their hitting shoes to Tuesday evening's championship showdown at Alberta Park. Brokebat Mountain opened up a sizable lead, but Pitch, Please rallied for 9 runs in the 6th inning to make it interesting. Ultimately, Brokebat Mountain's Anthony proved to be the game changer, pitching a complete game while hitting for the cycle.
The energy on both sides was competitive and cordial, as both teams had a small contingent of fans cheering them on from behind the backstop. Most importantly, everyone had fun in the setting sun amidst the pristine backdrop of the Alberta Dog Park.
