Another Tuesday Night fall season of Midcore at Fernwood has come to a conclusion crowing IgoNoUGo our champions for 2013. But they didn’t go down without a fight from Shaggin Balls and Shots on Us.
After being seeded #2, IgoNoUGo had a bye into the semi finals, but they didn’t let the week off slow them down. They came in swinging hard against the very tough Shaggin Balls. After 2 hard fought games, IgoNoUGo came out on top to advance to the finals against Shots on Us.
The finals match was a great display of volleyball. With 2 point deciding margins, IgoNoUGo hung onto the first win and Shots needed an extra point to pull out the game 2 win. Heading into a 3rd game, both teams were ready to go. And being game 6 of the night for IgoNoUGo, they dug deep to run away with a 10 point victory. Shots put up a great game and make IgoNoUGo work for every point. Way to hustle Shots.
Congrats to IgoNoUGo, we look forward to seeing you defend your title during the late fall season. There is no doubt that Shot on Us will be headed your way!
