Where My Pitches At was a force to be reckoned with on Sunday as they won the Sunday Unthank Kickball Championship. Liz Lord and Jeff McCallister were a big part of their two victories as they pitched and kicked their hearts out. After having a very dissapointing regular season record, Gang Green knocked off the number one seeded team and played very well in the playoffs placing second. Great season!!!
Liz had two good games on the mound and at the plate. She used her changeup well, making many batters feel off balance. She made good plays at the pitcher position and helped her team on the offensive side of the ball by reaching first all day long. She helped her team win the championship and for this she is our player of the week.
If you look up kickball dominance in the dictionary you find nothing. But, if you were to find something, it might have a picture of this crossover superstar. Leaving the dust triangle of softball this roundball wizard is sure to pitch her way past many of the greats in the Kickball record books.
Skills:
Rocket arm to first on all bunts.
