Jennifer displayed the heart of a lion on the field today. Everytime her team needed an RBI, she would come through. In such a close, hotly contested kick ball game, Pitches Be Crazy need all the runs they could get and Jennifer provided plenty. Great job out there today.
The game between Pitches Be Crazy and Sloth Balls was epic, to say the least. Tied after 7 innings, we went to the 8th, where Sloth Balls took a seemingly insurmountable lead. Pitches would not be denied, however. With two outs and two runners on base, John Edelen delivered an incredibly clutch, game-tying kick, sending the crowd into a frenzy. For his calmness under pressure, John is without a doubt our player of the week.
Zach displayed a non stop, high energy motor on the field today. His defense on the mound was nothing short of amazing. Any ball that headed his way was a sure out. He sure pounced off the mound like a half crazy, half man, half panther hell bent on destruction - and by destruction, I mean getting much needed outs. Great job out there today!
