If you need a player willing to dive at any moment, Sammy is the person for you. She’s got killer athleticism, she reads the court constantly. Sammy is communicating with her teammates the whole game. Even when behind she’s ready to encourage her teammates and rally to get points. Sammy you’ve had an amazing season. Congratulations to you and your team making it to the finals.
Sammy from sandy cheeks had a dynamite set of games! She helped her team by sacrificing her body by diving again and again. In set 2 the other team spiked the ball to the back corner. Sammy knowing she could reach it, spun and lunged for the ball sending it back to the center of the court for her team to claim the point. In set 3 during a long rally Sammy came from the back row to dive and save a ball at the net. Great job Sammy, way to show up and play the game!
Tim from Sandy Cheeks is the player of week. He brought his A game for the teams double header. In the first set of games Tim served his team to victory with 5 and 10 point serving streaks. In game 2 he had Tim hovered over the sand as he waited to spike the ball for a kill. Great effort today Tim!
