Keep clam was the motto for slug chugs tonight during their tight game against Darcy’s Angels. They split the first two sets and were forced to play a third. Here Slug Chugs refocused. They slowed down the ball and started getting their three touches in setting up for great hits. This regrouping allowed them to make smart plays and take the third game and the championship! Great job Slug Chugs!
Keixa from Slug Chugs is player for the week. She was the MVP of the game, having a serving streak and strategically placing her hits. Slug Chugs we’re down a player, to make it up Keixa move and covered. On one play she read the tip and hustled to the back corner saving the ball and allowing her team to set up the ball. Great plays, great serves, way to go Keixa!
