The top two seeds in this league had a face off during the championship match on Wednesday evening. Prior to the final match, Tipsy had battled it out against Big Dig Energy in what could be argued as both team's best games yet. Tipsy had played for the full hour prior to their game against the Smokin Buns and they were playing with a 5-man team - which may have been a disadvantage against the fresh legs of the top seed team. The game was an exciting one, with long rallies and amazing defense from both sides. Great job to both teams and congrats, Smokin Buns! See you all next season!
What a great opening night by Sami. She was rocking it all. Her biggest highlight was her killer jump serves. Which gained her team points the over all 3 sets. Sami also has strong skills everywhere else on the court. She is ready to support her team by digging the ball and spiking it when her teammate gives her a perfectly set ball. Congratulations on your first win of the season!
