In a riveting, fast paced match between two veteran teams, Hit Faced defeat Fromunda in a 3-set battle. Fromunda, still hot and warm from their exciting match against the Volleybrawlers, took the first set against Hit Faced at 25-15, taking advantage of their already pumped-up energy. In the 2nd set, Hit Faced retaliated by ensuring that no ball touched the ground without a fight - clinging on to the last few points to take them into a 3rd tie-breaker set by beating Fromunda 25-22. During the 3rd set, it was clear that both teams were hungry & ready to play. Points were scored back and forth with an aggressive defensive showing from both teams to answer strong hits from both sides. When it came down the the wire, Hit Faced finished strong to take the championship title winning the tie-breaker set 25-19. Amazing job to both teams & congratulations, Hit Faced! What an overall exciting night in sports last night!!! (Go Blazers!)
