Winter Softcore Volleyball at Friendly House Thursdays

Player of the week was a clear choice this week as Karen McMahon stole the show the last hour of the night. In a close game between Double Digits and Fireball, Karen kept her cool as she made all the right plays. In Game 2 she served her team back into the game with 8 straight points. But the end all as her amazing one arm save out of the net that had just enough spin to roll over the net and land the point. Double Digits had an amazing win with the help from Karen and all of her teammates! Keep it up all season long!

Sarah was on Fire tonight. It a sweeping win by the Fireballs, Sarah stepped up and lead her team to victory. She was an ace behind the serving line and had a few zings that went right past the other team. She has a beautiful set that set her team up for big hits. She is a great teammate and always keeps positive. This week she is our well deserved, Player of the Week!

Having fun is way better than winning! Mike had a great attitude tonight that had everyone laughing. Baboon Goes the Dynamite is in the race for the "Most Fun" Award of the season and they are led by Mike. It was a tough game tonight, but Mike continued to work hard to make it a game, he had the best effort tonight of anyone all season! And when the point didn't go his way, he did the next best thing....laughed on the floor until the next serve. Mike and all of BGTD played a great game tonight, but Mike kept the spirits high and everyone went home with a smile. Great work Mike!
