Marie Crosby

The Dolly Partons

Marie was this weeks Player of the Week for one of the best reasons, FUN! She set a very good example of exactly what we are all about here at Underdog. There was one point during the night that she joked with me after barely losing a set that it wasn't too bad for a bunch of strangers that just met! She just has one of those kinds of spirits, really enjoyed meeting new friends on her team and having a blast with them on the court. Great way to start the season for her and her new team, keep it up Marie and keep bringing back that upbeat spirit!

Bradford McKeown

We'd Hit That

Bradford is the definition of the Underdog way! It didn't matter what the result of the game or play was he just wanted to have fun, even being funny at times and laughing with his teammates. He was also all over the court, making plays the best he could and had some good point wins and encouraging his teammates every serve. Heck Bradford even gave high fives across the net when the other team had a huge kill against them. Its like I said, he the definition of the Underdog way! Great job Bradford and keep it up.

Scotty Gilbert

A Little Bump n' SPIKE IT HARD!

Scotty was the man! Heavy hitter from everywhere on the court but also a great teammate trying to set up others on his team. His best attribute though was his serving, it is quite possibly what led his team to a win. Scotty was serving up many different types of serves from curvy, fast, and even slow to get many aces! While Scotty is busy being an Ace, he's also a great sportsman and really is just there for the fun. Keep it up Scotty and good luck the rest of the way!

Wayne C

HYGS

Wayne... what a player and an even better teammate! He is always getting the troops going and being loud on the court, encouraging each and every one of his teammates. But what is missing is that the man can spike, hit, and serve very hard all over the place! Great sportsman and always having fun with his coworkers out there, keep it up Wayne!

Shelley Sievers

M Team

What a hitter! She's getting kills all over the court and sharing it with her teammates as well. Not to mention it was like a block party/ competition in the second set! She would block an attempted kill from the opposing team then vise versa against her. Pretty cool to watch it all unfold! Keep it up Shelley and good luck the rest of the season!

Kelsey Marsh

Just the Tip

Player of the week goes to the outstanding Kelsey M this week. She went on a 9 point serving streak to help boost her team. All night long she was ready for the pass and was making diving saves from the back row to make sure the ball didn't hit the ground. It was a great game between these two teams and Kelsey was there to make sure that her team was at their best. She is all smiles between plays but has her game face on when it is time to make a play. Great work Kelsey!
