Heather strolled right on the court ready to play. No warmup nor practice necessary, she was prepared to dominate. She led off her team's rotation with an eight ace run switching between over and under handed serve techniques. A solid communicator, Heather was a floor general and cheerleader. She was instrumental in the game's longest rally and a good sport when they claimed victory!
Balls Deep embraced a balls to the wall, go big or go home mentality this week. They sacrificed their bodies and charged at the net to save rogue hits. Especially Sarah! Sarah powered her serves and sprinted to manage out of bounds plays. She was an all star and very spirited. She displayed genuine sportsmanship with a knack for humorous banter. Hopefully her toenail did not fall off!!
Starting off strong by making a half court shot in warm ups, Travis was ready to play. His skills and determination carried over to the match as he kept making plays.
Diving and hustling he was digging balls on defense. Adding some kills and points on serves he had an all around game. Nice playing and attitude!
Playing his usual hustle game, Brian was again making plays this week. Diving and running all over the court he was doing what he could for the team.
Staying for another match to help out Torn Ligaments, he continued his hustling ways. Scoring points and playing defense he had a nice night!
Starting off the first match of the night, Tom was ready to do what he could for the team. Helping out with net set up he was already being a team player. 'Running the night' by serving tough, scoring points and adding a great one hand save!
Adding some nice hits, sets and mojo he had a nice match. Nice playing, sweet block and great communication!
Scared Hitless opening up the night with a do or die situation against Balls Deep. Rachel was making nice plays throughout talking, serving and passing it up.
Her game continued after they won the first match as she aced a few and had a sweet one arm save. Great job. Nice matches and season Hitless!
Collier was a big time utility this week. He was scrappy, quick and didn't think twice in diving to pancake the ball. If he fell, he rebounded rapidly to his feet. He had a killer untouched 5 point rally in the second game and kept his team alive. Congrats Collier, you are player of the week!
