Brandon had a great day today on defense where he made a diving catch over his shoulder. He also played good defense at first base all day long. When he came up to bat he helped his team on offense too, as he kicked a homer that helped his team to a tie. Great game Brandon.
Poke and Pray got off to a 9 to 0 run against Voodoo Balls Sunday at Montavilla Park. Voodoo Balls came back in the sixth inning to tie it up 10 to 10. That's when Poke and Pray's Tim McGuire hit a home run to put his team back on top and win the game 15 to 12.
Mikeal Pettinger completed one of the hardest things to do in kickball on Sunday. He kicked a grand slam homerun, that just about went to the parking lot. He helped his team to a solid victory while having a great time.
JP did everything for the merkin thieves today. He was great at the plate as he booted a deep homerun. He was great on defense as well. He made a few jumping catches and was part of at least two double plays. He was unstoppable at all positions on the field and he had fun doing it, great game JP.
Who says you need skin tight aero dynamic pants for kickball. So what if your jeans billow out in a parachuting type motion on your way into 2nd. And what about the exposed knees? Man, we cheers Brian for rockin' the least kickball appropriate gear and still having a great time.

Team Ramrod gets the kudos this week for stepping in and giving Yoshida's Ball Busters an opponent after a no show by Bon Jovi 2. They could have packed it up after their grueling extra inning game just before but decided to show some great sportsmanship. Way to go guys!
Kevin Worrell made a huge difference in his team's success today. His great pitching and solid kicking helped win it for Redballs and Vodka. Whether it was making a great snag on line drives back to the mound or crushing RBI doubles, Kevin was a major factor for the kickball Champs.
