Summer Thursday Evening Kickball at Montavilla 6:30-10:30p

John "G" made it look easy out there this week. His performance had both teams absolutely mesmerized. Late in the game, John took his stance in left awaiting the low flying liner that came his way. As the ball tailed sharply to the ground, John knew his only chance was going to be a dive. Like a major leaguer in the outfield, John leaped full out and just got his arms under the ball for an amazing display of athleticism. Great effort by John Gentle.

It was Aliza's superb athleticism in the field that made the difference for her team. Her range in the outfield to track down fly balls was displayed for everyone. No matter how high or far the balls were kicked, it seemed as if she caught everyone in her direction. Aliza's great performance on defense earned her the player of the week honors.

Andrew "Red Dawn" Craig was unbelievable at the plate tonight. He reached base many times and kicked a few balls that I thought were never going to land. For his great kicking he's our player of the week.
