The Hardcore bracket at North Clackamas Park was a pitching battle with great defense by all the teams all day. The final was no exception. The last two teams standing would be a rematch of a game from the morning where Seattle's Super California Pants beat Portland's Mother Chukars 2-1. The live music of the festival was a great setting for this epic match up. The game was a pitching battle,. Through the first two innnings the score remained tied 0-0. Mother Chukar's worm burn'n ground balls put two points on the board to put some angst into the Seattle team. In the top of the fifth the Chukars put another run on the board to make it 3-0. That's the way it stayed and the Mother Chukars celebrated as main stage belted tunes by the Rolling Tones.

Kirby's Bloopers squeaked into the playoffs as the Whiskey division's last seed. Then they beat the powerhouse Claw team, followed up with another upset victory over team Do-over. Happy to be in the final The Bloopers found themselves in a close see-saw battle with We Got the Runs, Again. Down by two runs in the bottom of the fifth The Bloopers were kicking for the fences. With two outs a Blooper's ball was driven hard to left field. We Got The Runs Mitchell Brandt came up with the catch to win the tourney 5-3.
