Fall Co-ed Midcore Kickball at Brooklyn Park Sunday Afternoons

They're here! Their Grey! Today Kate led the parade to an impressive win and what proved to be a very fun day of kickball. The 'Grey Pride' shone through as her team flew the flag and embarked on what may be a historic fight for Grey rights to a kickball championship. Wat to go Kate, your cause is noble and the Underdog is happy to endorse it.

In what was arguably the week's most competitive game, Schweddy Balls needed a four run bottom have of the 7th inning to nip Brass Balls and stay undefeated in the league. While there were many web gem plays in the game, including an awkward, yet effective stumble/force out at 3rd base by Schweddy Balls 3rd Baseman Adam Bowdish, 2 incredible diving catches by Brass Balls center fielder Nicole Gatto showing off her range awarded her the player of the week award this week. Great effort!

D Coop was an animal at 1st base on Sunday. Whether it was a sharply kicked ball, a pop up in foul territory, or a canon from one of her teammates, D Coop handled the Underdog Kickball with ease. Her defense helped the Orange Moefoes shut out their opponent and enter the Brooklyn Park playoffs as the 3rd seed. Good luck in the playoffs!

Vibol Bou was key in every game the Blue Balls played en route to winning the championship, but no point was it more evident then when he pulled off a Grand Salami in the first inning of their semi-final game against Brass Balls, sending a message that Blue Balls were a force to be reckoned with in Fall ball at Brooklyn Park.
