The first game of the night was a tough battle between The Rusty Spikes and The Mighty Monkeys. The score was close both games. The first game Monkeys won 25-22 but the Rusty Spikes weren't going down without a fight. Due to Robert's tough serves and some great plays by the ladies of the team, the Spikes almost pulled off the second game but didn't quite pull off the win, losing 25-27.
Monkey's then played #1 team Meeeeooow. The first game was a blow-out with Meeeeooow winning 25-6 but don't be fooled. Monkey's weren't going out like that! They came back and won game two 25-22 with some amazing attacks by Peter Nguyen and great blocks by Brent. Meeeeooow ended up taking the cake by beating the Monkey's 25-20. Their girls control and great sets let the guys really set up some great hits and turned out to be unstoppable in the end.
