Winter Co-ed Volleyball at Blazers Boys & Girls Club Mondays

This week's shout outs go to Hilary Butsch who is quickly emerging as the leader of this group of Indy players. Aside from some awesome encouragement, Hilary also saved a ball by getting her hand between it and the floor in the exact instant before it hit the ground. The ball went up, and her teammates hit it over the net. This was incredible! There were several other epic saves brought to us by Hilary this evening, but that one was worth praising. Her team emerged victorious this evening and is sure to continue the rally. Awesome work Hilary!!

This week shout outs go to Jessica Kaminsky of Beef the Heat! I will start by first saying that Jessica has some super sweet knee sliding skills and is an integral part of this beefy team. The chemistry between these players, who started out as strangers, grows every season they play together and is very impressive. Now for the real talent. Jessica managed to get a ball stuck in the basketball hoop, not once, but TWICE within the same match! Considering that this might happen once per season, this number is rather incredible. This is talent not shared by many, so way to go Jessica!!!

Carly was doin it all for the squad on this week. A positive reinforcement on the court and the sidelines. She kept the team upbeat and attentive. Have yourself a Monday!
