Late Fall Co-ed Volleyball at Blazers Boys & Girls Club Wednesdays

Night one. Setting the tone for the season. Kari's serves were coming in hot! You could hear the ball leave her hand but those low float serves were so deceiving! You couldn't tell how hard they were coming in until it shot off of her opponents hands. Ace after ace after ace!! She wasn't the only one bringing the intensity to her court, her whole team was bringing it! They know that every game counts and they are starting from game one, ready to give it all they got and take this season by storm! Congrats on being the player of the week Kari! Cant wait to see what you and your team bring to our season!!

Its not OVER until its OVER might just have to be Nayana's new motto because dang! She was hitting the wall. She was hitting the floor. She was rolling around on the ground. She even ran out of her court and almost on to another just to keep the play going! Nothing was gonna stop her! She was on fire the entire night! Both her team and the team they were playing were putting up an amazing fight and had some incredibly long and entertaining rallies that made you question the laws of physics. But without fail they continued to put the ball over the net. Congratulations on being our player of the week Nayana and giving OVER the net a whole new meaning!

Ricky was a true X-Factor in Volleyball this week. Proving the old adage that some people just have "it," Ricky was on another level tonight at Blazers Boys & Girls Club. Magnificently, Ricky out ran, out jumped, out performed, and most importantly, out cheered the competition, paving the way for his best game ever. For gracing all in attendance with his natural athletic ability, Ricky is our Player of the Week. Congratulations!

Oh. My. Goodness!! The only thing hitting the floor harder than Florian on defense was the ball when he was crushing it on offense! Florian definitely has the height advantage of being able to block the ball while still standing flat footed on the ground but what really drove home the points was his super strong swing. You name it, cross court or line drives that ball was coming down faster than a bullet! Those spikes were jaw dropping! Congrats on being our player of the week Florian and keep up those awesome hits!
