Sparkle Motion was ready, bringing mojo and positive support to opening night Irving Park. For the 1st game coach/captain Blake had her team set up and chants going. Ali was leading the way with her Great catches and endless hustle.
Bloody knees, no problem, great game. Keep playing and having fun, sparkle on.

Neal Almarsi
Winners, Losers & Boozers
Neal must have been cut from the Kickball Gods cloth as he looked amazing and even played better than he looked. If you watched the game you could have sworn that if there was a ball kicked in the air while Neal was on defense, he caught it!
Then while he was up to kick on offense, his golden toe put the ball right where no one was. It was simplly amazing to watch the ballet that Neal put on.
Rialo Fitness club members were staying in shape tonight, playing tough for 2 games. They were playing great team ball and bringing the mojo. Joey was on the go throughout the game.
He had a kick every time at the plate and was a super catcher behind it. Bunt to the catcher=out. He added a nice bunt catch too. Nice play, keep working out y'all.

Eric Nomura Puts the Sparkle in "Sparkle Motion"
Sparkle Motion
Team "Sparkle Motion" may not have walked away from this week with a win, but they definitely walked away with a major victory! What they missed in points they more than made up for in style, led by chief style guru Eric Nomura. Eric arrived at the game in a cape full of golden sparkles, literally bringing the "sparkle" for "Sparkle Motion" today. Eric Nomura and his outfit is a spectacle for the eyes and and nugget for the heart. Thanks for making a evening of kickball even more shiny!
Let's give it up for Ariel: Bad-ass attorney by day, kickball phenom by night.
Somebody should write a script based on her dual identities then pitch it to NBC as a sitcom for their coveted Monday 8pm time slot. I think it's NBC's best shot at competing with "Bachelor Pad". That show is terrible but it's a ratings juggernaut.
Dude's got game. In addition to kicking two monster home runs, he made some filthy catches in center field. I haven't seen such well-rounded play since watching Ichiro...seven years before the Yankee trade.
Manuel was in beast mode in the outfield! Running down popflys thru out the outfield. One catch in particular a ball kicked to outfield, well right field, when the lady playing right field was camped out waiting for the ball to come to her. While waiting Manuel came flying over to take the catch away from the right fielder by running over her.

Killer Punk Mustaches bring spirit and mustaches to spare
Killer Pink Mustaches
In a great week of kickball, Killer Pink Mustaches stood above all other teams in the most important category: fun! Killer Pink Mustaches arrived in their hot pink garb equipped with mustaches on their fingers that they were more than willing to don on their lips for a great chuckle by all. Quite an awesome team, Killer Pink Mustaches is an asset to the league and a valued part of Underdog Sports League. Keep those mustaches flowing!
Jared Wolschlager brought his heart and soul to the field today, pitching those pitches with all his ability in his body. And my oh my what amazing spectacles those pitches were to watch! Jard did granny style, around the ball, through the legs, and what could best be described as "wacky style" throughout the night. They weren't always the greatest pitches, but they were always the best to watch! Unfortunately Jared chose to retire late in the game when his pitching arm was beginning to fail him, but his legacy was not forgotten. If wins and losses were dictated by style, you would have won the championship Jared. Great job and keep those pitches awesome!
