Come lounge with Underdog at the Sellwood Public House. A chill Pub with great menu items and drinks that will blow your mind! All games are free. Darts, pool, shuffle board, foosball, and TV!
As the Late Fall Season at the Sellwood Courts opened up, Darrin Osborn came ready to start the season. With a double header on the schedule, Practicing Safe Sets was ready to have a good time. And that they did. Darrin had the Underdog spirit going all night. With smiles and hard work, he set the tone for the rest of the season at the Courts. Good job Darrin!
Tuesdays games included great battles between teams, but none better than Kill Tommy vs Shaggin' Balls.
Both of these teams have been champions before and it was a battle of the elite to see who would prove the victor. Shaggin' Balls was missing a key player in Sean Cease, but he quickly made his presence felt when Kill Tommy would shank passes out of bounds.
Even though Sean did not make a physical appearance, his phantom presence was felt as Kill Tommy couldn't get there game going.
After the match was over a sense of relief left the gym as Sean's ghost presence left as well. For making his presence felt as "The Phantom" Sean Cease from Shaggin' Balls gets this week's Player of the Week award. Congratulations.
In a once in a season opportunity, Johnathan put all his power into one back set and right through the hoop it went. If we were playing basketball we would have two arms up for a good 3 pointer. Both teams went wild and had a good laugh. Best play of the night!
Notorious DIG thought they were down and out at the start of the game when some of their players didn't make it out of the holiday's quite yet! But that didn't stop the four of them from taking a close match from their opponent! This was an awesome game to watch and both teams played amazing, but Notorious worked hard for the win! Great game DIG!
Had he tried to make a basket the right way, he believed he couldn't do it. Yet, in the midst of a long rally, Ben Abilies deflected the ball right into the basket! That was just one exciting part to a great game played by Ben and the rest of Can You Dig It. It was a well played game that was fun to watch and Ben kept the teams spirit high. Great game by both teams and an even better basket! Kudo's Ben A.!

Free Balling (Softcore Indy #1)
From the bottom up!
This week the Free Balling Indy team came in a the #6 seed in the playoff and are headed to the championship. They played two very tough games and fought through. With spirit and determination, they came together before Thanksgiving not knowing each other and now they are playing for a softcore championship! They had an amazing run and look to finish strong next week! Way to go Freeballing! Keep it up, 1 win away!
This week we give an award to the team of the week. Going into the playoffs last week, team Free Balling had not won a game, but this didn't veer them off their goal.....
When playoffs came, Free Balling was focused as they played tough teams to make it to the finals. Once they got to the championship game, they were all smiles and laughter.
They feel short of the title but that has not discouraged them from playing because of how much fun they continue to have with each other. This bunch of players get the Team of the Week Award for their awesome times that they bring. Congratulations and keep up the good times!
