Late Fall Softcore Co-Ed Volleyball at Beaverton Courts Tuesdays

This week's team of the week goes to Spiked Punch(Indy#1)! These guys played awesome this week and had a fabulous time doing it. They may not be the tallest team but they have every advantage with their quickness and great communication on the court.

Tonight was a hard fought game. The Spiked Punch worked together on their basic skills and was able to rack up some serious points on their opponent! They are definitely becoming a cohesive team even in the short time that they've been playing together. Congratulations Spike Punch on being team of the week!

This week's team of the week goes out to the most discombobulated group this evening, the Block Party!

Have you ever wondered what happened to those random kids in gym who enjoyed twirling and posing in the outfield when they should have been running after a ball? This evening those wonderful misfits got together to create the most entertaining bout of volleyball this league has seen so far. Nothing celebrates the delivery of an ace serve quite like a pirouette!

The Block Party has it all and they know how to rock the volleyball court. Giggles abound as they spike and volley their way though to victory. Even their opponents can't help but be overcome with a sense of joy for the match up. Thank you Block Party for keeping Portland weird and an awesome week at the courts!
