This week's player of the week goes out to none other than Princess Kynzie!

This woman made one heck of a debut at Underdog Volleyball. Not only does she live in Salem and drive all the way up to Beaverton to hang out with us, she also is the goryest first day player :) Kynzie takes a licken and keeps on playing!

She doesn't let anything stop her, grass, concrete, ice packs, she's in it for the long haul. Such a great attitude and personality, even in the face of pain she has a smile on her face. Kynzie is a team player and supports her teammates through it all. Even if she can't play she stays on the sidelines and helps them out.

Marc had a fantastic week this week. He was all over the court passing everything in his path. Marc was talking to the team and putting up a big offense at the net as well!

This week Marc has really emerged as a key player for his team. He's here each and every week with tons of enthusiasm! It is evident that he truly loves the game.

Sloppy sets came to play tonight and brought the fun with them. The entire team played all out but Mitch aka Mitch-A-Palooza, lead the team with his amazing "big tips". Great show of sportsmanship and heart tonight by this team. They set the tone for the night. Way to go Mitch and Team!

Chad is a go get 'em player. He is constantly all over the court chasing down straggling balls that appear impossible. He jumps super high at the net, and can get almost any ball over.

Chad is a team player and is quick to jump in when another team needs an extra hand. Always smiling and chatting on the court.

Champions - Block Party
Congratulations Block Party on being this season's League Champions!

This playoff was a battle to the finish. In the first round games were close. The volleys were consistent, the hits hard, and these teams did not appear to be the same soft-core newbies that we remember from a few short weeks ago.

Narrowly coming away with a victory Block Party progressed to the finale where they would face off against the Honey Badgers and extremely tough opponent.

This last round was so exciting! It was as if no ball ever seemed to touch the ground. Kill after kill both teams were equally matched. The strength of these teams is that they are constantly adjusting on the court and making sure to get back to their base positions.

Congratulations Block Party on coming away as our Tuesday League Champions!!
