Summer Co-ed Sand Volleyball at Gabriel Park Tuesdays

Jimmy played amazingly this week! He put his heart and soul into every play! His serves were impeccable and his attacks were outstanding!

Jimmy’s star play took place on Tuesday night at Gabriel park. The ball was shanked far away from the net during a play, and Jimmy sprinted to the ball. In a flurry of sand and sweat, Jimmy made an epic dive to save the ball which ended up getting his team a well earned point!

Not only did Jimmy bring an impressive skill set to the team, he brought an even better attitude. He consistently cheered his team on regardless of what the score board said. For all these reasons, Jimmy has been elected player of the week! Congratulations and keep up the great work!

Ashan Perera from Volleyllamas was on fire this week! On Tuesday he played double header games and never lost his zest. He brought an amazing skill set to the team which included killer serves and impressive dives.
Ashan kept a positive attitude during all his games. He encouraged his team mates no matter what the scoreboard said. Further more, he even congratulated opposing teams on their impressive plays! Thank you Ashan for your outstanding “underdog sportsmanship”! Congratulations on winning player of the week!
