Not every league gets a personalized playlist booming from the sidelines while they spike and dig but thanks to Paul, Wednesday night teams reap the benefits of a sound system. Not only that, Paul showed up first to the courts, helped set everything up and rallied his team to begin practicing. After his game, he stayed to cheer on the next matches and brought the stereo back out to hit around with another team at the end of the night. Between the radio, the cooler, and nonstop cheering, Paul is definitely a player you want in your league!
This weeks player of the week goes to Chris Stinnette of Kinky Sets. First off, let me begin by saying that not only did Chris look totally fabulous on the court (in looks and in physical jest), but his attitude was top shelf as well. Chris was diving after EVERY ball. And even if his team didn't get the point, he only had encouraging words for his teammates. What a great display of good sportsmanship! Keep up the great work Chris, and congratulations on being this week's player of the week.
This weeks player of the week goes to Amanda for stepping in when a few of Indy #73's players couldn't make it out! This was her first time playing with Underdog, and she rocked it! She showed a attitude, and helped lead her team to a victory with some awesome passes and serves. Way to go Amanda, and congratulations on being this weeks player of the week.
Kinky Sets really brings the energy and fun to the Underdog league. The whole team can be found joking and smiling at any given moment on the court, and really providing a great atmosphere for anyone playing with them. Of course, their efforts on the court should be noted, as each player gives 100%, and supports one another in their efforts. Thanks Kinky Sets for bringing the entertainment this week, and look forward to seeing what joy you'll bring next week! Congrats on being selected as team of the week, and GO KINKY SETS!
This week's team of the week is awarded to Notorious D.I.G. Two recipes for success for this team: Watermelon and Serving. The juice was essential to Notorious D.I.G's victorious match up this week, and provided the necessary hydration to survive the dirt courts. Let's not forget to mention the incredible serving this team showcased this week from top to bottom! No corner was left untouched by these guys. Thanks for coming to rally this week Notorious D.I.G, and bring your "A" game next week for the playoffs!

Randy Manning
Best Spirit of the Night
On a mildly muggy round 1 of the playoffs, Randy Manning brought the light to Gabriel Park. Not only did he start the night with Hawaiian Chololates fresh from the Island that morning, but he kept both sides of the net laughing the entire night. No matter the score, Randy made sure that both teams were having a great time. Calling it in or out, stairing the sun straight in the face, he was talking the whole time. Both teams left the court happy tonight because of Randy! His team congratulated the Minds Games and wished them well in the playoffs. Hope to see Randy and all of Indy #62 back next sesason!
Player of the Week wasn't an easy choice this week as the entire championship winning Notorious DIG gave it their all. But they had one player serve them into a few game vicoutries this week. Ashley W. served it up tonight. With multiple 7 plus serving streaks she helped her team get the lead, keep the lead and REGAIN the lead when needed. Her team cheered her on each and every point. Not to mention, Mind Games backed up a few times and sucked it up to pass her hard hitting. Great job tonight Ashley, way to lead your team to vicotory!
