Filling in for Asa was Nick, who pitched an excellent game while also kicking a 3-run homer and later sliding into home for a crucial run in the 5th inning. Nick earned POTG honors for his efforts. The game came down to the wire, with Portland Llamas scoring 2 runs in the bottom of the 7th to get within 1 run of tying the game with only 1 out and a runner on 2nd.
