Midcore Volleyball at Beaverton Courts Tuesdays

Once again Puinsai came into the playoffs as the number 1 overall seed, but it wasn't easy, having been tested in the regular season.
In the championship game they faced a We Block Cancer team that was much improved from seasons past, and swept there way through the playoffs.
Both teams really wanted the title and it showed in the first set. The intensity was championship quality, both teams went back and forth and we were even halfway through the first set. Then Puinsai seemed to find another gear, as they often do. They ended up taking the first set fairly easily 25-12.
In the second set some of the intensity seem to fade, as on court joking between KK and Warren seemed to relax the rest of the team, and Puinsai's game showed as they got back to relaxed winning ways.
Each player on the championship team did a wonderful job whether it was Nicole's sets to Tom, or KKs saves and Warrens punishing kills. A well deserved back to back championship to the men and women of Puinsai.

How are Standings Calculated?
Standings shown do not automatically adjust for tiebreakers. Tiebreakers may be adjusted manually prior to playoffs with head-to-head followed by runs/points allowed (or sets lost for Volleyball leagues) as the top 2 criteria. Forfeits may be calculated differently as stated below.
º Forfeits
Parenthesized numbers indicate wins or losses by forfeit.
When calculating Ranking Points, forfeits may be weighted differently than normal wins and losses.
