On a day where the Runs played down due to some impending marriage plans, they brought more than enough firepower to take out Gang Green and claim a Softcore title at Sewallcrest. Things were clicking early with Katie sacrificing her body sliding, to Tishko laying some wood on incoming pitches. An early lead left them with enough cushion to stop and drink in another set of wristbands.

What a difference a season makes! After running wild in their rookie season as an Indy team, the Pumpkins were humbled last season in the playoffs... this year however, the Pumpkins took their lumps early in the year, fighting their way to the playoffs and ultimately knocking off two very hot teams in 2 Legit 2 Kick and Hot Mess. Captain Ron kept everyone in check, Mariah, Alisa, and Abby mixed bunts with some well placed kicks, and Johnny brought the big boots when they needed them. Coupled with a lockdown pitching performance from Matt in the finals, and the Pumpkins now are ready to DEFEND a title rather than chase one.
