Todd is this week's Player of the Week! He was a key player in securing his team the 'W'. When he wasn't diving on the floor saving countless balls, he was playing the net like an imposing brick wall! Way to go Todd and team. Good luck in the playoffs!
Wednesday nights Softcore matchup at Tubman between SomeName and Decent Fellows looked a bit like a gymnastic event led by SomeName's Breanna Markham. What she brings to the court is no less a dazzling display of not only athleticism but circus-like agility in a tuck and roll style. Breanna had some incredible saves and diving efforts where she slid across the floor to boot the ball with her outstretched hand, then rolled up to her feet ready for the next volley. This tactic was especially effective in game 2 vs. Decent Fellows when Breanna rolled and dove time and again to keep the ball in play and resulted in a 27-25 nail-biter win. With her toddler son and fiancé cheering from the sidelines, mom Breanna impressed throughout the match and earned a well-deserved POTW!
