After a reasonably tame playoffs where the top-seeded teams took care of business throughout, the Dolly Llams and the Never Nudes met in the championship game. The hour-long thriller that developed proved to be nothing short of amazing. The two teams engaged in a scoreless stalemate full of close escapes and defensive miracles until the bottom of the 5th, when the Dolly Llamas pulled ahead by one. Not to be denied, the Never Nudes manufactured a run to pull even once again.... and so it was until the top of the 9th, when the Never Nudes struck again with another run. The Dolly Llamas had a runner on second but wasn't able to bring her home in the bottom of the 9th, making the Never Nudes champs! Congrats to both teams!
Tazer was all over the place today. In addition to catching pretty much everything that even came close to right field, she also was instrumental in several of the runs that the Never Nudes scored - including one in the championship. Way to go!
