Summer Co-ed Sunday Aft/Eve Kickball at Montavilla

This guy kicked 3 homers in one game. 'nuff said.

This week's games culminated with a nail-biting, back and forth classic that eventually ended up in a tie. Mike played a big part in AA's initial lead and retaking of the lead with a couple of timely, well-placed kicks. He also was pivotal in the final moments, coming out of nowhere with a catch in the last inning that saved a couple of runs in the bottom of the 7th. Congrats to both teams!

TJ Celebrated her 1 year wedding anniversary in style, playing kickball! She not only brought her veil but she also brought her game. She racked up multiple hits and rbi's to help the oddballz beat the merkin thieves. The oddballz had the most runs in one game (15) out of all of Sunday's games at Montavilla.

During the first Sunday of playoffs at Montavilla, there were many spectacular plays to choose from, but Kevin's stands out from the pack. In a hotly contested game between the Oddballz and The Ladies' Pie Society, Kevin was playing third base when a line drive was kicked right down the line. Kevin somehow managed to catch the ball for the third out despite bobbling it while almost tripping over third base and almost running into the fence! So amazing was this catch that although Oddballz did not win the game, the other team was so impressed that they nominated Kevin as player of the game anyway! If that weren't enough, he played again in an exhibition game, where he was once again the star, making several impressive plays and driving in a couple runs. Nice work Kevin!
