Pit of Despare couldn't have picked a better week to pick up their game. Two huge scores put them well over the competition all while wearing only the finest in pajama wear, pj party pants.
Happy Hookers did their best to distract them with laughter and mass beer consumption, but Pit of Despare would remain unphased and move on to the finals against a hot rolling Must Like Girls who had just finished off Mangelina and the FERNS' hopes for the big show Unfortunately in the second game, those shiny new balls of MLG's just couldn't find as many spares and strikes as when they are at their best, and Pit of Despare rolled a second over 700 game, taking the championship.
6-9 Splits collected an impressive number of Spirit Tickets throughout the season and was just able to beat out Douche Newtons and Happy Hookers for the champs prize. PIZZA PARTY! I can only hope Buck's Pajama Night costume somehow makes it into Mississippi Pizza for a last sleepless hoorah...
The No-Tap championship between 6-9 Splits, Mighty Mugs, Douche Newtons and EPD was back and forth all night long. EPD started off early with a Big No-Tap Turkey and just kept rolling great all night. Douche Newtons kept just behind them coming into the second game with the rest of the field well behind. Both 6-9 Splits and Mighty Mugs pulled off some great no-tap bowling in the second game and were looking close to making a final push for the win, but it was Douche Newtons who began stringing one no-tap after another and came out in the end with an amazing 15 no-tap coupons! Well done sirs and ladies!
Making their first appearance at Thursday Big Turkey Bowling, Pit of De-spare brought out not only their big guns, but their Pirate Pride as well. Mr. McGerald took the Pirate idea a bit differently with an overcoat full of "Pirated" music and videos. On top of that, he bowled two great games helping Pit of De-spare get their first pair of wins for the season. Awesome!
