First Place

Summer Softcore Co-Ed Kickball at Irving/Alberta Parks Mondays

The playoffs were defined by hard-fought matches and highlight-reel catches, and the championship game was no exception. With the Reeley duo (Nick and Kelsey) leading the way, the Wolfpack got out to an early lead and held on to win a well-deserved championship. That said, the play of the playoffs might well belong to one Scott Marian, who managed to make a sliding catch to end the semifinals and propel Wii Not Fit into the finals ... but Scott ended up straining his hamstring on the play and had to resort to base-coaching in the finals. Well played, everyone!

POTW: Kelsey Reely

Rick Newbrey and the Wolfpack

In the title game, it didn't take long for the fireworks to begin. Nick Reely led the game off with a triple, but then when his wife Kelsey Reely tried to bunt him home, he ended up getting caught in a rundown and pegged out. Meanwhile, Kelsey was cruising around the bases, putting a crazy amount of pressure on the Wii Not Fit fielders. Kelsey ultimately made it all the way around to score -- a perfect way to get the game started. For getting her team off and running, Kelsey is our final player of the week. Congrats!!
