Dry Bumpers may have lost the Spirit Award by 2 tickets this session, but you wouldn't have known it from the looks of tonight. Spirit was pouring out of lane 46 and also from their friends Pick-Adze-Strike on 48. They created their own theme for the night with Pick-Adze and brought music to back it up. It was prom night on these two lanes. Complete with puffy dresses, ruffled tuxes, and classic prom jams from the 80s and 90s. You set high standards this league, Dry Bumpers. We can't wait for you to break them next season.
With each gutter ball rolled, a Dry Bumpers player earns a Post-It of Encouragement. Let's just say Lauren had the most encouragement from her teammates and a shirt made of Post-Its.
POTW is actually TOTW--Team of the Week. And it's Dry Bumpers. It's hard to pinpoint the creative genius behind the Mystery Post-it Note Game (my guess is Bridget...or Jon) but mad props to this entertaining (and educational! Lance...really?! I would've never guessed that about you!) "punishment" for bad bowling. Everyone gets a chance to flex their imagination (Dan!) as well as their bowling arm in this game. It's their own version of the "Who am I?" game (the answer is Not, Hayley), but with that extra twist. Keep up the fun times!
