This week's player of the week is going to Camille from the Minions. Every week balls fly around the court missing the opportunity to go through one of the many basketball goals in the gym. Well not this week! In an attempt to dig a serve, Camille sent the ball flying backwards, up, off the backboard, and through the hoop. Such a rare occurrence warrants some recognition! The Minions had three great games against the moovel crew, and Camille was there supporting her team throughout the match. This match was filled with smiles, banter, great volleyball, and fun. This only served to make Camille's bucket even more epic. Thanks for bringing the fun this week, congrats Camille!!
Shout outs to Danielle from the Minions this week, who steps up and dominates the court each time she plays. She has a unique style all of her own, that is perfect for a team named after yellow creatures that have existed since the beginning of time. Danielle is an incredible player that can hit, serve, set, pass, dive, cheer, step up and sub for others teams...you get the point. This all star has it all! Not to down play her clear talent, she is also encouraging to her teammates and takes the time to help out new players. They had a tough match tonight against the reigning champs the Blundercats, but kept the score tight and gave the cats a run the last two games. It is still unclear which despicable master these Minions serve, but what is obvious is the epic skill Danielle contributes to this team. Way to go Danielle!!!
