Sarah strung together some great serves consistently keeping her team in front. She also displayed excellent technique from all over the court! The Moovels are Movin on Up!

Nicole’s positivity was infection lake the plague. Spreading like wildfire and making the game fun and evvverrybody happy!

Shout outs to Danielle from the Minions this week, who steps up and dominates the court each time she plays. She has a unique style all of her own, that is perfect for a team named after yellow creatures that have existed since the beginning of time. Danielle is an incredible player that can hit, serve, set, pass, dive, cheer, step up and sub for others teams...you get the point. This all star has it all! Not to down play her clear talent, she is also encouraging to her teammates and takes the time to help out new players. They had a tough match tonight against the reigning champs the Blundercats, but kept the score tight and gave the cats a run the last two games. It is still unclear which despicable master these Minions serve, but what is obvious is the epic skill Danielle contributes to this team. Way to go Danielle!!!

Player of the week is going to Nayana Jennings from the D.Fohz, and with no questions asked! With only victory in mind, Nayana dove for a ball and collided with a teammate's elbow, leaving her with a black eye. All injuries aside, Nayana is an all around great player. She makes things happen for her teammates, and has epic serves. This high spirited team is scrappy, and often victorious. Tonight was no different. The D.Fohz took home the match, and Nayana took home her first ever black eye! Way to play Nayana!!

Shout outs to Nathan from the Valley Lama! Nathan led his team as they played a double header, and came out as division champions. Nathan has great bumps, and has an uncanny ability to place the ball just where the opponent is least suspecting. He crushes teams with his serves and was a huge contributor to the success of his team in the playoffs. Way to go Nathan!
