Coming into the day as the 3rd seed, Watts Up Stearns was seeded as the underdog, but prepared to write their own underdog story. All that stood in their way were the top two seeded teams in their bracket. In their semifinal game against the second seeded Can I Kick It, Watts Up Stearns brought the energy and the passion needed to get the win against a tough Can I Kick It? team. Following their semifinal win, Watts Up found themselves one game away from completing their underdog story. Matched up against the first seed, Charlie's Angels 2: Full Throttle, Watts Up made sure to show up and carried their exceptional play from the semifinal game into the final game. Underdogs at the start of the day, Watts Up Stearns found themselves with the ending every underdog dreams of: an upset win to become the champs they knew they could be.
Watts Up is Eric and when he was it was pretty choice. Leading off the 3rd inning by getting loose with karate kicks and leg lifts, it only seems right he got his first base knock.
Aside from the offense Eric was bringing the defense, making catches, he was bringing the positive attitude. Great game and keep up the mojo!
