Notes

First Place

Late Fall Co-ed Football at Lewis and Clark Sundays

Alcoholics Anonymous stepped up in the second half of the season without their trusted quarterback at the helm. They managed to secure the number one spot heading into the playoffs, cruising to the semi-finals game where they ran into Whoa Bundy.
This game went to overtime after a thrilling regulation where both teams racked up 44 points. After a quick score by A.A., they settled into their defense. Naomi N. ultimately became the difference maker, snagging a game ending interception before the goal line to propel her team to the championship game.
A.A. carried their consistent play through the final game, earning the win against Unicorn Apocalypse. Tyler Y. threw for 5 touchdowns for A.A. to pick up player of the game and lead the team to another championship.

Sunday, January 26

Naomi N. of Alcoholics Anonymous

Player of the Week

Naomi N. earns Player of the Week honors because of her staunch defense in the overtime semi-finals win against Whoa Bundy. This game was a high scoring affair that went to overtime, which is when Naomi decided to make a stand to end the game.
After a quick score in which Tyler Y. found a receiver in the back of the end zone, A.A. stepped onto the field for defense. Naomi came up huge with the game ending interception just short of the goal line. She jumped the route and with quick hands secured the football and the right to move on to the championship. From there her and A.A. kept up the play and went on to win the finals.
