Down but never out was the motto for Aristocrats this past Wednesday at Friendly House. With some hard fought battles throughout the night, time and time again, Malia did everything in her power to keep her team in competition. In what felt like more games than most, Malia found herself in 1 vs 4 or 1 vs 5 situations.
What might be a tough task for most, Malia defeated odds to give her teams victory in these situations. Constantly making strategic outs, catching missile-like throws to flip the game, and making some impressive deflections, Malia showed what a never quit attitude really looks like all night.
For her impressive performance, Malia is our Player of the Week!
On occasion, sports offer a platform for an athlete to transcend the competition and the game played. Such was the case when Laurel of Aristocrats transcended dodgeball with her show stopping performance. Throughout the game, Aristocrats turned to Laurel when they were in need of a big play. Time and time again, Laurel answered the call every time by recording outs and showing some impressive dodging skills. For her incredible performance, Laurel is our Player of the Week! Congratulations!
