What a HAMtastic night for a championship game! In a night where HAM came in looking to repeat, they didn’t disappoint. In their first game of the night, Liz lead the charge for the night and set the tone of winning with a smile. HAMmates followed the lead and pulled out a 6-1 victory with some awesome play by Luke, Bryce and Andrea. After a short break, HAM took control again but in a very different fashion. Pulling out one of the longest 1-1 games in Underdog Dodgeball history they ended up with a low scoring 3-1 match that took the full allotted time. Matt and the rest of his crew pulled into the championship game to see who they were playing against. Surprise, surprise, it was none other than their long-time foes – A Good Day to Die Awesome! The Hampionship game was a close match all night with no team taking a lead of more than one game in a back-to-back match. Becky “X-factor” knew it was an epic night while HAM came out of the 3-3 tie in the final game to win the match by one game.
Here at Underdog we love to see our players show up with a great attitude every week. Bryce is no exception as he always shows up ready to play. One thing we've noticed though is that every week his beard gets longer and he gets better. There is definitely something going on here because we have unconfirmed rumors that his beard has been making catches and throwing people out. Whatever he is shampooing that thing with must be working wonders because there is definitely reason to fear the beard and that is why Bryce is our player of the week!
