Fernwood was full a hard hit, great saves and big blocks this week as E! True Volleyball Story and the Thunder Bumpers squared off for the second time this season. The main gym was pumped up this week. Again the Thunder Bumpers got the best of E! with a 2-1 but they couldn't have done it with out the big blocking that Rachel M brought to the court this week. At all the right moments she was at the net ready to put the ball back in E! court. They sent some hard hits her way and she handled each and everyone of them. Not only at the net was she killing it, but she also sent some deep serves their way. Combined with a great team effort, on both sides of the court, these friendly rivals put on a great match for others to watch. Way to go Rachel and both Thunder Bumpers and E! True Volleyball Story. Great game!
Brian and his Thunder Bumpers came out to show Monday nights why they were the Tuesday night champs of the winter season. Playing one of their Tuesday competitors, they opened their season with a bang. It a close game, the Thunder Bumpers swept E True Volleyball Story.
While both teams played GREAT volleyball the Thunder Bumpers had Brian on their side and he set up each and everyone of their players for some phenomenal hits. HIs court management and great talk helped lead their team to a great victory.
Watch out Monday, Thunder Bumpers are looking to another championship in the Underdog Belt.
