Winter dodgeball kicked off in fine fashion at the Friendly House on Wednesday night. Teams were pumped and focused all evening, with a great mix of veteran teams and fresh faces ready to make their mark in this always competitive league.
Making her presence felt early and often was Rebecca of team Keep calm and dodge on, a player who found herself on more than one occasion being the last person standing in their second match of the night. Keys to a successful defense in this situation...hold the ball tight next to the stomach, express a bit of fear in your face and get a serious case of happy feet.
While her team may have come up short on the scoreboard, Rebecca's no fear attitude and now patented defensive moves were an inspiration to her team and those who witnessed a rising star with Underdog dodgeball.
