MVP OF THE NIGHT!
Aaron was a huge asset to the Waves team, he actually scored every one of there runs and hits the ball really good! But not only is he a great player but also a great sportsman and a really nice guy. Aaron was able to pick up the opposing teams bats and take it back to there dugout before the umpire was even able to. Truly an awesome guy to be around and have a good time with him on the field.
Amy, steps to the plate and takes her hacks and does well. When she takes her place on third gets taken out by a runner and gets up and dusts herself off keeps going. Next time up to bat she takes her hacks does what is not sufficient to her so her next at bat she comes up and takes her hacks but left handed and hits a stinger. (Wow girl) She then goes outfield and gets taken out by her own teammate going for a routine fly ball, she gets up and dust herself off and keeps playing this lady is truly unstoppable. Great job young lady.
Player of the week is actually going to be Megs husband Matt Armstrong but is missing from the roster. Matt pitched a complete game and was a great asset to the team. In the 3rd inning he had a really great play at the mound, a line drive was hit just to his right and he reached out and snatched it with his BARE HAND! Matt made it look too easy. With that in the bag for him he was able to come to the plate and knock a few huge hits and really contribute for the team. Great job Matt and keep it up week in and week out!
For team Waves it was there first time ever playing Underdog Softball and they sure had a good time! But Aaron was outstanding for them. He pitched a complete game, had a positive attitude the whole time, and just loved being out there to get a chance to play. Thats not all! Aaron later came out and smacked a few hits into the outfield and later scored there first run of the season! Great job Aaron and keep bringing that positive attitude and power to the game every week!
