Full Stack Web Developer

Full Stack Web Developer

League Lab, the software that powers Underdog Sports Leagues,  is looking for a full-stack developer to work on our SaaS product, a web-based business platform for running adult recreational sports leagues. You'll be joining a small, fast-moving team, where everyone is a key contributor to the evolution of the product, and you'll be shipping features to customers right away.

We are not looking for a hired gun, who has contracts with multiple clients at once and can squeeze us in when "things slow down." We want someone who has already tried the corporate South Lake Union path and wants to dedicate themselves completely to something thats simpler, but actually much bigger and impactful.

League Lab's South Lake Union office is shared with the  Underdog Sports Leagues team.  The environment is laid back and innovative, which enables the "Lab" in League Lab, so we can constantly test and try new ideas for managing sports leagues across the country. You might even currently play in a sports league or an intramural program like Underdog, which would help you understand the social impact we aim for with our software platform.

About You:

- You're always learning and enjoy solving new problems, technical and otherwise
- You communicate effectively and are able to manage complex projects
- You strive to be in tune with users and anticipate or extrapolate their needs
- You'll work toward League Lab's best interests without being micromanaged
- To you, a confused user is a challenge rather than an excuse
- You don't wish customers were easier, you wish the platform was better.
- You enjoy sports (or at least delivering fun)

Why Come Work With Us?

- We offer lots of autonomy and flexible hours
- You'll take features all the way from whiteboard to deployment
- Your work will ship to users often, it'll brighten their day, and you'll hear about it (quickly)
- Working for sports leagues is way more fun than most jobs (we think)

- Develop new features, enhancements, and bug fixes
- Maintain and increase test coverage
- Troubleshoot problems anywhere in the stack
- Assist front-line support with customer service
- Manage and monitor our infrastructure on AWS
- Release your own code and respond quickly to any issues
