The Leftovers completed a dominant season with a superb 28-15 win over the Sassy Sasquatches in the Championship Game Thursday. The Leftovers pulled ahead early in the game, scoring a massive 10 runs in the first inning. Josh Ertmer, Chris Howard and Ryan Hammond all homered to lead the Leftovers to victory. Mike Chowdhury pitched a complete game, doing a good job to subdue the Sassy Sasquatches. The Sassy Sasquatches did mount a late comeback, scoring nine runs in the final two innings, but the Leftovers made some great plays on defense to hold on to the lead and take home the championship title.
