It is safe to say the Brandon was a little nervous to pitch since it was is first time ever pitching in slow pitch and he had to start of the season with a double header. It in no way looked like it was his first time pitching. Both games he was spot on and got it done on the pitching mound. His pitching helped his team get two wins to start of the season strong and I think it is safe to say that he has now secured the spot as the starting pitcher because he dominated both games. Not only did he pitch two great games he also played great defense and offense. Keep it up Brandon and way to help your team get those first two wins of the season!
This "delicate flower", as her husband calls her, was doing it all on and off the field this weekend. Not only did she have a golden glove out in the field making some great catches, she also had some great hits throughout the day to help lead her team to victory. Even while doing all of this amazing stuff on the field she was able to be a great mom and keep an eye on her daughter and even found some time to take her to the playground. Keep up the good work!
Kurt did it all in the Fireballz double header on Saturday.
Not only was Kurt playing solid defense at third base and making some incredible stops he also had some solid hits throughout the day to help push his team to a victory in the first game. During the second game Kurt brought the same fire making some amazing stops at third base and coming up with some clutch hits to help his team. Although the fireballz fell short of getting there second victory of the day there is no arguing that Kurt had an amazing day on the field. Way to go Kurt!
It was a hot day out there on the baseball field yesterday but Jeff was able to hold his own on the pitching mound through all the heat in a double header. Jeff pitched in to hard fought games by Scared Hitless. He didn't let the heat stop him from helping his team out in many ways.
The first game was a hard fought battle going back and forth. Jeff found ways both on the mound and at the plate to keep his team fighting hard in this game. After playing this tough game Scared Hitless had to play another game in this 100 degree weather and once again Jeff came to the pitching mound. All game long it was a hard fought battle and it came down to the last inning to see who was going to get the win. With a solid hit and then excellent base running Jeff was able to seal the win with a nice slide into home plate. Way to go Jeff!
