POTW: Aya Roggow
Spare Change
Aya! Aya! Aya! Wait, why are we chanting? You think a 93 in game 1 and a 135 in game 2 are just ok? How about when I tell you that Aya had to be taught how to bowl at the beginning of the night. That's right, she rolled a 135 on her 2nd game after learning how to bowl. Oh, and the 135 was a team high. Coincidentally, 135 is about 90 points higher than the Big Turkey has ever bowled. When asked how she accomplished a 135 in her 2nd game ever she replied "I like beer." That's the spirit Aya. This bowling league may never be the same.

POTW: Anthony Braxton
Mafia Strikes Back, Again
They say women like firemen. The ladies at the alley last night can thank Anthony for bringing a group of firemen to the lanes. In addition Anthony stepped up his game for his buddies, bowling 60 more points in the second game than he did in the first. You can try hard to resist the pun, but Anthony was burnin' up the lanes.

POTW: Clinton Vinning
Spare Change
Clinton really knows how to save the best for last. Clinton rolled five strikes in a row. An impressive feat in itself, Clinton had to take it farther. He rolled a turkey in the final frame of game two! Those left watching Spare Change at the end of the night were going crazy. We really didn't think he'd get the last one, but when it happened it was amazing! Brings a tear to the Big Turkey's eye.

POTW: Alamin Karim
Temple of Doom
Alamin Karim, AKA The Incredible Hulk has earned the proud title Player of the Week. Alamin had to learn to bowl with newly found muscles and green skin, but he didn't let that get in the way of consistent bowling with only 2 points difference between his game scores.

POTW: Zaven Papakhian
Pervalicious Bowling Circus
Congratulations Zaven. Not just three strikes in a row, but 4! It's always more impressive in the 10th frame of the game to get a turkey. Everyone was hoping for a repeat turkey in the 10th frame during the second game, alas just one pin was fighting gravity for that third strike. You gotta love his celebratory dance moves!

Here for the Beer
Teresa Morris deserves player of the week. Teresa has sported theme night every time and last night was spectacular. Completely nerded out, broken glasses and a calculator on her hip. Teresa improved her score in the second game by 18 points!
