After a 33-6 win over The Snukes earlier in the day, Deep In Your Red Zone finished the day strong. The championship game was hard fought on both sides, but Deep In Your Red Zone proved too much for Safely Blitzed. The precision passing of Jeremy Breslin and a two touchdown day by Jeff Jelderks led the offense of Deep In Your Red Zone to 33 points. The sight of Caitlyn Cushing getting "pantsed" yet still running down field and Jeff Jelderks tipping a pass to Chris Humphrey for a TD showed how much Deep In Your Red Zone wanted the win. Safely Blitzed, however, fought hard and never gave up after falling behind early. Kristie Conder and Eric Bueltel both scored TD's but two interceptions by Andrew Slade cut short the Safely Blitzed comeback. Deep In Your Red Zone wins the championship and the coveted $50 bar ticket 33-14.
